Register description – information according to Article 13 of the GDPR

The purpose of the membership register and the legal basis:
The purpose of the member register is to enable and document the association’s activities and organization, and to realize the association’s and members’ rights and obligations.
The legal basis for the register of members is Article 6.1.c (legal obligations) and Article 9.2.d (processing of specific categories of personal data).
Recipient of personal data:
The personal data is handled by the association’s board and site administrators. The information in the member register is not handed over to anyone outside the organization.
The personal information that is filled in during registration is saved and your personal information can be reviewed on the Account page.
Storage period:
The information is stored as long as the membership continues and is deleted thereafter.
Rights:
Persons entered in the member register have the right to request access to and correction of their information. As long as the membership continues, it is not possible to request deletion of your information or to restrict or object to the processing. The right to data portability is not possible to exercise under Article 20.1.a and 20.1.b.
Complaint:
Persons who are entered in the member register have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
Obligation to provide information:
The association maintains a list of members who choose to register on the webpage. Registration is optional. If the information is not provided, it is not possible for a member to get members-only content on the webpage.
